Ed Doheny → Edwin Doheny – I believe that doing so will remove the ambiguity between Edwin Doheny and Edward Doheny.(EGorodetsky (talk) 07:33, 21 April 2011 (UTC))

Move undone
[edit]I have undone this page move. All pertinent sources refer to this player as Ed Doheny. If distinction is necessary, which I do not believe is the case as there are no other similarly-named pages, the page should be moved to Ed Doheny (baseball). I will keep this page on my watchlist for a while to discuss any further issues. -Dewelar (talk) 12:56, 29 April 2011 (UTC)
Edwin?
[edit]I see the discussion about his name above, but I cannot find a single source that calls him 'Edwin,' which is what this article calls him. He is called 'Edward' by the NY Times, Baseball-Reference, and the book Tales from the Pirates Dugout. He is called 'Ed' in The First World Series and the Baseball Fanatics of 1903. Am I missing something? - blackngold29 08:07, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
